Meet the Founder

Since its inception, Yappy has been led by award-winning entrepreneur Kohen Grogan—named 40under40 at 28 and a Rising Tech Star to watch by Virgin Voyeur Magazine. Kohen transformed a $2K garage startup into a multi-million-dollar scale up, successfully launching into North America.
He has served as a non-executive director and advisor for organizations like Entrepreneurs’ Organisation, Edith Cowan University, and Classroom of Hope. With PhD-level research on generative audiences and communication disruption under his belt, Kohen is also a sought-after keynote speaker, captivating audiences at events for organisations such as KPMG, The CEO Summit, EO and Westrac Cat.
Kohen is focused entirely on Yappy reaching their bold vision and goal so he can set up a significant philanthropic fund dedicating the majority of his personal wealth to making lasting impact in health, education, hunger and environment.

Impact & philanthropy

Yappy is not only focused on driving significant impact for our clients, but through a philanthropic focus, Yappy’s founder is committed to giving back and creating positive impact to issues that really matter in spaces of health, hunger, education and environment.
To do this, we have a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) to achieve a minimum unicorn valuation ($1 billion) by March 29 2029 so our Founder can dedicate the majority of his personal wealth to establishing a philanthropic fund to continue this work with greater reach.
On the way to that goal, Yappy continues to support a number of impactful initiatives.
Some include: pro-bono work for charities to drive donations for fundraising initiatives in the space of mental health and suicide prevention, supporting DGR1 status charity Classroom for Hope to enhance childrens’ access to education by building schools in Lombok, Indonesia with blocks made from recycled plastic waste and sponsoring scholarship programs for Business Schools.
